White Coated lamps are so effective in blocking unwanted radiation that you can hold your hand within a few centimeters of the plated side while most of the heat is emitted in the opposite direction. Premium alluminum ceramic is plated 180°on the quartz tube to achieve directional radiation. 85% of heat output is focused to a fixed direction.

The aluminum ceramic coating will last longer and effectively remains unchanged during the lifetime of the lamp. This results into a constant, more efficient heat output
